  1. Do you like (to learn about) history?

  I love history it shows us where we come from. People say history always repeats itself and it does. I think it’s important to look back so we can learn from past mistakes and make sure we don't make the same ones as ancestors did. My favorite time in history would have to be the medieval times.

  我喜歡歷史，它讓我們知道自己來自何處。人們說歷史總是重演，是，確實是這樣的。我認為回顧歷史非常重要，這樣我們就可以從過去的錯誤中汲取教訓，確保不再犯先人們犯過的同樣錯誤。我最喜歡的時代應該是中世紀了。

  2. Do you think history is important?

  History is the record of events of what had happened in the past. In a sense all developments in politics, government, society, inventions and discoveries are part of human history. History helps you understand yourself better and understand others around you better.

  歷史是過往曾發生事件的記錄。某種意義上講，政治、政府、社會、發明和發現的發展過程都算是人類歷史的一部分。歷史能幫助你更好了解自己，也更好地了解周圍的人。

  3. Do you think you can learn history from films or TV programs?

  No. Unless the film is presented as a documentary, no strict adherence to the historical record is mandated. You go to movies not to learn about history but to be entertained, frightened, thrilled. That’s all great. But there’s no reason that an episode of history has to be done with a certain degree of accuracy, because that’s not the objective of a movie. My view is, if you get your history from movies or TV programs, you get what you deserve.

  我不這么認為。除非電影是以紀錄片的形式呈現的。你去電影院不是去學歷史而是去娛樂，享受驚悚，刺激的，這樣很好。沒理由一段歷史一定要以某種程度的準確度來拍出來，因為這不是電影的目的。我的觀點是：如果你從電影或電視中獲取歷史，那你獲得的就是這種歷史。

  4. Do you think the internet is a good way to learn about history?

  There many excellent resources for the study of history available on the Internet. Keep in mind, however, that not everything published on the Internet is reliable information. We should all be careful and use our commonsense when surfing the Internet. Always check the information you learn from online against reliable sources elsewhere.

  網絡上有很多學習歷史的優秀素材。但記住，并不是網絡上的所有東西都是可靠資源。我們在網上瀏覽時要謹慎，具備常識。永遠要把從網絡上了解到的信息和其他地方的可靠信息拿來對比。

  5. Does your country have a long history?

  With more than 4,000 years of recorded history, China is one of the few existing countries that also flourished economically and culturally in the earliest stages of world civilization.

  中國有著有跡可循的超過4000年的歷史，是世界文明早期階段就展現經濟文化繁榮的現存的幾個國家之一。
