  主要描述：這個線圖比較特殊，主要看到【比較】，當然有【變化】，只不過老章的思路是不以線性變化為主。表格自然是【比較】。

  【時間點單一】，同在一個固定年份內，只有城市之間的比較，沒有時間之間的比較。這種“同時間不同城市之間的比較”的情況，老章歸納出來的模型為“同時不同項”。

  Introduction

  Shown in the line graph and the table are three cities’ average monthly temperatures (in Celsius) and their average annual lengths of sunshine (in hours).

  老生常談之劃線部分是倒裝現象。

  如果在【introduction】不寫對于整個圖表情況的總述，那么就需要寫【conclusion】。

  Body

  According to the line graph, the contrast between the Northern Hemisphere cities and the Southern Hemisphere city is marked. 由第一句話可以看出，老章的思路不是【變化】而是比較，北半球的兩個城市VS南半球的一個城市。New York and London, as they both are in the northern half of the globe, are similar, and a year starts and ends with the lowest temperature of 10 degrees. The highest temperatures occur in the middle of the year – June, July and August, and July is the hottest month in both cities, and it is noteworthy that New York’s July has warmer than London’s by 7 degrees. Clearly, the rest of the months saw either climbing or falling temperatures. 至此可以看出老章這里對于【變化】的描述，并沒有教條的按照“從開頭到結尾”的順序來寫。而是先寫兩端的低點，再寫中間的高點，最后寫低點和高點之間溫度變化的趨勢。In Sydney, the opposite is the case.短小一句是提醒讀者，接下來老章呀寫位于南半球的悉尼了。并且，在這一句，老章寫的的【比較】關系(“相反”也是一種比較關系)。Time going to the mid-year, the city’s temperature falls, and the lowest point is 15 degrees. 這一句是用的線性【變化】的思路寫的。接下來，老章又回到了寫【比較】的思路： The warmest months are January, February, November and December, all of whichsee the average temperature of 25 degrees. 接下來的掃操作是，老章一句話就把表格寫完了：With regard to the annual length of sunshine, the sun shines roughly 2500 hours in New York and Sydney and, by stark contrast, less than 1200 hours in London.

  第一個劃線處，狀語從句在主語后插入到主句當中。

  第二個劃線處，這個句子可以當成套句記憶，意思是“情況正相反”。

  第三個劃線處，獨立主格結構作狀語。

  第四個劃線處，注意定語從句的用法。

  Conclusion

  In light of the above, there is, in the tendency of temperature over a year, apparent variance between cities in different hemispheres.

  如果在總述圖表情況的時候，發現其中一個圖表的總述不好寫，就不寫，也可以，不用糾結。
