致辭新航道十周年
Good afternoon!
各位下午好!
Firstly, congratulations to New Channel on its 10th anniversary. Congratulations to Mr. Hu Min and to the fantastic team that he has assembled.
首先，祝賀新航道十周年，祝賀胡敏老師和他帶領的優秀團隊。
The last ten years, since 2004, we see the continuous growth in the demand for English, English for study abroad, English for work, and English for all kinds of cultural exchange.
2004年以來的最近十年里，我們看到了不斷增長的英語需求，包括出國留學英語、職場英語及各種文化交流英語。
But another substantial change is taking place, I think English itself is no longer really viewed as a second language.
而英語正在發生一種實質性的變化：英語本身不再被視為第二語言。
It is viewed, all around the world and here in China, as the essential skill for work in any context. It doesn’t matter whether you are abroad or in China.
在全世界范圍內，包括中國，它被看成是一種最基本的工作技能，無論你在國外還是在中國。
In the last ten years, New Channel has grown to become a major English training provider in China.
最近十年，新航道已經成長成為中國一個主要的英語培訓提供商。
New Channel has done this because they take very modern approaches to English and to English teaching.
新航道之所以成功是因為他們運用非常現代的方法進行英語研究與英語教學。
Once again, I congratulate them on their success.

Assure that, well, it is New Channel’s 10th Birthday. 2014 is also the birthday of IELTS. It is in fact IELTS 25th anniversary in China.
其實，2014年不僅是新航道的十周年，也是雅思在中國的25周年。
Over this time, IELTS has become the leading English language test in China and it is recognized worldwide by over 9000 organizations.
在這25年當中，雅思成為了中國一個主要的英語語言測試，也被全世界范圍內的9000多家機構認可。
We are proud to include New Channel as one of our major partners.
我們因為把新航道作為主要合作方之一而感到驕傲!
And we look forward to continuing to work together in the future to help Chinese learners achieve their dreams.
